Updates!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. So here’s some mental for ya.

So I’ve decided it was finally time to change up the look of my site. As much as I loved the look of the old one, I don’t feel it ever reached it’s full potential. Back then I was using the Suffusion theme which I looooved for the amount of stuff it could do. Now mobile phones and such have changed the way in which we view content, so content must change to suite. The new trend is called “responsive layouts” in which things move and shuffle about to fit the screen it is on. This unfortunately is where suffusion fell off. So….. time to upgrade.

I like this new theme, the only thing I wish was that the blog summaries had pictures. Well… they CAN have pictures it’s just that I don’t like the way they are formatted. If you have a vertical picture it will crop it automatically to fit a horizontal frame ( and crop it with no controls at that). So unfortunately no more pics on the blog page unless you click into the actual post. Kinds sucky honestly, the only down side of this theme. You would be mind blow to find how amazingly hard it is to find a basic but elegant theme that does what you want. There is a plethora of over the top themes with these gigantic billboards for a front page. but something simple……. nope. It’s Either it’s so simple that it looks like rubbish or it’s so flashy that it’s overwhelming.

The other thing I don’t care for with the post Featured Image is that it will copy the image out of my Gallery and put it in the Media library. Which I don’t really care for. I suppose I can make due but it’s just a bother to me. I can be an organization nut when I want. Especially with files.

Moving on…

It became apparent to me as I was working on this new layout that I haven’t done any art in a very long time. What happened you ask? I blame the internet. When I was smaller I primarily drew this stuff for my own enjoyment. Think of it in a survivalist mindset in a way. There is this thing that I want, that I don’t have access to. So….. I’ll make it! But now, I have access to it…. lots of it. And a lot of it is better than what I could produce so I fell of. Will I get back into it? Honestly I dunno I’d like to but only if I can find a direction for it. I have some plans for things that I would like to do But it’s a secret lol. I’ll let you all know when it’s done though! I guess I could say my focus has changed a bit.

Current project

If you didn’t notice I have added a new section to my site for my figure collection. I’m in the process of taking nice pics for all of you to see my very “interesting” collection of statues and figures.  It’s always fun when you can share your obsessions with others who can appreciate it.

Games

Actually this deserves it’s own post cause I feel a rant coming on. But to get to my main point, I’ve been playing this game called space engineers and have built my self a little breasts themed space station. Maybe one day I’ll post pics ( another post).

Anywho, that’s enough for now. Back to repairing life.
